My Unique Character Tutorial part 1- the Face (part 1).

I decided to split Face into two parts because it was already getting huge with just this stuff. Enjoy!

P.S. I kindof can't tell whether my feminine guy is a guy and my masculine girl is a girl. Sometimes you need more context. xD; I could use some work on making people's eyes look different but I was lazy.

By the way, men's eyelashes are actually longer and thicker than women's but people draw women with longer and thicker eyelashes anyway. It must be the makeup.

Characters in order of appearance are:
-four random faces
-Ju (my character) and Naya ( 's character )
-Mahali (my character)
-Nicky (my character, baby, 2-3, 10ish, 15ish (still growing), 20s, 30s, 40s-50s, (still can't understand Kysha's magic jargon), 80s ("I can still outrun you."). He's actually 1/4 elf so he lives to be about 100 years old, so the age he looks can be adjusted accordingly)
-the Captain ( 's character, shown looking about 55 but actually in his 150s, he'll live to be about 300. He makes fun of all his friends who age faster but he sure will miss them. He's had a Glass leg since he was...about 40?)

Late Edit, Nov 3, 2010: Gosh, looking back on this tutorial I'm not really satisfied with how I drew Nicky in different ages. The 10 year old-ish one maybe looks younger, and so do the 20s and 30s drawings. I think I need to try again with more references at some point, but I've been working on finishing the rest of the face tutorial at the moment.
